CERTIFY YOUR EVENT
Congresses, conferences and events are an important economic factor in the Innsbruck region. Many national and international participants travel to our region for these events. However, large amounts of resources are used, emissions are caused and our environment is affected. Therefore, many organizers of congresses and events are increasingly focusing on climate protection, regional added value and social compatibility. Instead of causing mountains of waste and traffic avalanches, "Green Meetings" and "Green Events" are characterized by increased energy efficiency, waste avoidance and environmentally friendly travel to and from the event by guests. Central aspects are also regional value creation and social responsibility. This gives the event a positive image among the general public, guests and sponsors.
You want to have your event certified as a "Green Meeting"? The Innsbruck Convention Bureau has been a licensee of the Austrian Eco-Label for "Green Meetings and Green Events" since May 2023 - we will be happy to support you with certification.
