Juiste uitrusting in de bergen
Ook bij gemakkelijke wandelingen is de juiste uitrusting, zoals goed schoeisel, belangrijk. Wij adviseren vooral in hoger gelegen gebieden en onbegaanbaar terrein bergschoenen. Draag uw slippers, sandalen of hoge schoenen alleen in het dal! Ook dient u rekening te houden met de temperatuurverschillen tussen berg en stad. Wie bijvoorbeeld vanuit de binnenstad van Innsbruck met de Nordkettenbanen naar de Seegrube of de Hafelekar rijdt, heeft extra laagjes kleding nodig! Zelfs als u in de stad bij 30 graden start; verder naar boven is het koeler. Een jas is noodzakelijk! Ook handig: regenkleding en een pet of hoed tegen de kracht van de zon op hoogte. Onderschat de natuurkrachten in de bergen niet. Een plotselinge weersomslag en sterke daling van de temperatuur zijn mogelijk. Nuttige informatie rond dit thema vindt u op onze wandelpagina.
Koffer pakken voor Innsbruck
Het fijne aan de zomer in Innsbruck: overdag is het meestal heerlijk warm, ook tot boven de 30 graden Celsius. 's Avonds wordt het daarentegen koel genoeg voor een goede nachtrust. Wie echter 's avonds nog uitgaat en van de terrasjes van de stad geniet, heeft een jasje nodig! Voor de rest geldt: wees op veel weertypes voorbereid. Het weer in de bergen is wisselvallig, het kan dus tussendoor kort regenen. Dan koelt het vaak gevoelig af. Anderzijds kunt u ook vakantie vieren met het mooiste zomerweer.
Een pullover in de koffer is dus nuttig, net als uw zwemkleding.
In de winter blijven de temperaturen vaak onder het vriespunt. Wij adviseren u warme winterkleding met muts, handschoenen en warme schoenen. Vooral wanneer u buiten bent en een winterwandeling of rodeltocht plant. Ideaal om op te warmen: een glaasje warme glühwein op de Kerstmarkten in december. Of een bezoek aan gezellige hutten of knusse cafés.
