The BRIDGE BEAT FESTIVAL returns July 16–18 on the Landestheater forecourt, once again turning Innsbruck into a stage for musical and cultural encounters in 2026. The festival builds bridges between people, generations, cities, and cultures—right in the heart of the city, with free admission and a clear mission.
Over several days, regional roots and international perspectives come together: a carefully curated music program, put together by Tyrolean musician and producer Marc Hess, who , with his many years of experience and keen sense of the right tone, ensures that the “ ” runs smoothly. ’s selection of acts artistically and creatively expresses the theme of “building bridges.” Musically, visitors can look forward to “crossover”—a mix of indie, jazz, pop, blues, folk, and world music, performed in dialect, in native languages, and in English. The festival will be hosted by Michael Klieber.
A special highlight is the BRIDGE BEAT BRUNCH in the Hofgarten (daily from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.): In a relaxed atmosphere, selected acts will offer a musical preview of the evening program as early as the morning. Accessible, inclusive, and appealing to all generations, the brunch invites you to get a taste of the festival atmosphere—on picnic blankets, in lounge chairs, and accompanied by light culinary offerings.

Das BRIDGE BEAT FESTIVAL geht von 16.-18. Juli am Landestheater-Vorplatz in die nächste Runde und macht Innsbruck auch 2026 wieder zur Bühne für musikalische und kulturelle Begegnungen. Das Festival schlägt Brücken zwischen Menschen, Generationen, Städten und Kulturen – mitten in der Stadt, bei freiem Eintritt und mit einer klaren Haltung.
An mehreren Tagen treffen regionale Verwurzelung und internationale Perspektiven aufeinander: Ein fein kuratiertes Musikprogramm, zusammengestellt vom Tiroler Musiker und Produzent Marc Hess, der mit seiner langjährigen Erfahrung und viel Feingefühl für den passenden Ton sorgt. Bei der Auswahl der Acts wird auf das Thema ‚Brücken bauen‘ in künstlerischer, kreativer Form zum Ausdruck gebracht. Musikalisch dürfen sich die Besucher:innen auf „Crossover“ freuen – eine Mischung aus Indie, Jazz, Pop, Blues, Folk und Weltmusik, im Dialekt, in den Muttersprachen und auf Englisch. Moderiert wird das Festival von Michael Klieber.
Ein besonderes Highlight ist der BRIDGE BEAT BRUNCH im Hofgarten (tgl. 11-13:30 Uhr): In entspannter Atmosphäre geben ausgewählte Acts bereits am Vormittag einen musikalischen Vorgeschmack auf das Abendprogramm. Nahbar, niederschwellig und generationenübergreifend lädt der Brunch dazu ein, Festival-Luft zu schnuppern – auf Picknickdecken, in Liegestühlen und begleitet von kleinen kulinarischen Angeboten.
