A hike to the Rauschbrunnen mountain hut

This beautiful hike starts in Sadrach and initially leads uphill on the left to the Buzihütte. From here, the trail continues through the forest, over several hairpin bends, until you reach the Rauschbrunnen at just under 1,100 metres. The rustic hut invites you to take a cosy break with a magnificent view over Innsbruck.

There is an alternative route for the descent: the forest road takes you to the Höttinger Bild, an idyllic place of pilgrimage in the middle of the forest. A short stop is worthwhile, as the small chapel with its fountain exudes a special sense of tranquillity. Then follow the Bildstöcklweg path downhill to the Planötzenhof farm.

From there, it takes about 5 minutes to reach the stop on line A, which takes you back to the city centre.
