The starting point is at the Römerstraße, cross it and follow the Lanser Alm trail. On a forest path, the trail climbs steadily in serpentines to the catered Lanser Alm with its beautiful sun terrace and magnificent view of the Nordkette mountain range opposite. The returm route follows the same path as the ascent.
Alternatively, the Ochsensteig trail leads steeply uphill to the Lanser Alm.
Tip: If you prefer a more leisurely hike, take the Patscherkofel cable car to the mountain station and hike downhill from there to the Lanser Alm in around 30 minutes.
