The Sellrain Valley Mountain Hut Tour: stage 6

The penultimate stage of the Sellrainer Hüttenrunde starts at the Bielefelder Hütte and leads along the Besinnungsweg (path no. 149) up to the Mittertaler Scharte. Along the way, there are always beautiful views of the surrounding mountain landscape. Several small streams that cross the path give this section a special charm.

The descent leads through the Mittertal valley, past the Längental reservoir, one of the reservoirs in Kühtai. A short stop is worthwhile to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and the impressive panorama. Finally, you reach the Dortmunder Hütte at 1,950 metres, where you can enjoy a relaxing end to the stage.

This challenging route comprises 500 metres of ascent and almost 700 metres of descent, with a walking time of around 4 hours.
