The trail runs from the middle station of the Patscherkofel cable car to the Patscher Alm. This is followed by a gentle climb to the Hochmahdalm and on to the top station of the Patscherkofel cable car. The route offers a beautiful view along the forest path. You can recharge your batteries at Das Kofel or Schutzhaus Patscherkofel. Both establishments have a large sun terrace with a unique view over the Inn Valley. At the mountain restaurant Das Kofel there is also a small children's playground, which is easily visible from the terrace.
You can return along the same path or take the train from the mountain station directly back to the valley.
