The newly cast bell weighs a whole 10,450 kilos - truly impressive! It bears the coats of arms of all ARGE ALP countries and an inscription commemorating the founding of the ‘Working Community of Alpine Countries’ in 1973.
After the peace bell was cast by the Grassmayr bell foundry in Innsbruck, it was loaded and transported to its new location via Telfs. It was installed in beautiful late summer weather and now sits enthroned above Mösern.
