A relatively long tour uphill to the lush meadows of the Simmering summit and its wonderful views. Start is at the Grunberglift car park. The ascent follows the right-hand side of the old piste and, when necessary, the forest path, to Zwischensimmering. At the first bend, turn left into the Harnersteig. Before reaching the alpine hut, turn left again and cross the slopes to the summit.Tthe descent heads past the slopes towards Simmeringalm alpine hut and then mostly follows the toboggan run and piste back to the car park.

Arrival
- You reach the starting point via the Inntal valley. At Telfs or Mötz, drive onto the Mieminger Plateau and continue to Obsteig. A few metres before the end of the village, turn left and follow the signposts to the valley station of the Grünberg lift. Bus 350 or 355 - stop "Obsteig Mooswaldsiedlung" (approx. 20 minutes' walk to the starting point of the Grünberglift). www.vvt.at
